CompeGPS Team SL has extensive experience in on-line shopping. We offer all guarantees in order to make secure transactions. Our website is SSL certified (Secure Socket Layer), security protocol developed by Netscape Communications which ensures data transmissions between servers and users.
CompeGPS works with a default POS terminal (Point of sale terminal), in this case, we use 'La Caixa''s TPV, a secure payment system, comfortable, fast and easy to process card charges.
How to register on our website?
In order to purchase on our website, each user must be registered.
You can register directly from the upper section of the website "Register". After that, fill out the form. At the end of the process, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Once done, you will be able to proceed to buy any of our articles, just enter your login and password "Login".
Which is the best payment method?
The fastest and easier method are payments by credit card. This option is totally secure.
CompeGPS also allows you to pay using alternative methods: bank transfer or even cash on delivery (not available for downloadable products). Payments by bank transfers may take several days to issue the payment order due to logistics movements. Cash on delivery method has a 4-€ fee due to management actions.
Another payment method is PayPal: the user needs to have a PayPal account with enough funds to make the payment (more information at: www.paypal.com).

How to use the 'Shopping Cart' and make payments?
At the left side of the website, you will find a section called "My Shopping Cart".
While visiting our website, if you buy a product, it will be automatically added to the Shopping Cart. Once you have finished shopping, you should click "View Cart" at "My Shopping Cart". There you will be able to check the content of your shopping cart and the total amount to pay. In order to pay, just click at "Go to payment" and follow the instructions.
How shipments are being made?
Many of our products are served by direct download (not physically sent). In this case, you will receive an e-mail with a download link to get your product and installation instructions. Furthermore, products that require shipment (for example: GPS devices) can be sent using ways.
Can I return the product if I don't like it?
The right to refund a product which hasn't been bought in person.
If the user is not satisfied with a purchased product from this website, he/she should return the product back to CompeGPS in no later than 7 days (being the first day the date of the product reception). Products can only be returned if they are kept in the original packaging and have not been damaged during normal activity tests. In case the product is based on a license, the registration code must be unused. We strongly recommend to read specifications, and once read, use trial versions before actactivation.
Where I live VAT tax is not applied: What should I do to get it back?
In order to refund the VAT tax (value added tax in Spain) you have to pay by bank transfer. After the transfer, send an email to orders(at)compegps.com indicating the details of your order and requesting the refund.

What stands for TwoNav concept?

Which GPS suits to my favourite activities?
All our GPS: Aventura, Sportiva, Sportiva+ and Delta work with the same navigation software: 'TwoNav'. TwoNav has all available functions to enjoy each of your activities: more than 60 data fields, alarms, compatible with Navionics, Geocaching and more.
Your choice will depend on the physical characteristics of the GPS. All our models have a touchable screen and many unique characteristics:
- Aventura has buttons for an easy and practical usage while working with gloves.
- Sportiva is the lightest GPS on the market, just 123g.
- Sportiva+ has ANT+ technology which is very useful to record heart rate and cadence data.
- Delta can receive driving indications due to Bluetooth operating system.
Which is the difference betweenTwoNav and Land softwares?
While TwoNav is a software dedicated to navigation for outdoor activities, Land is a personal-computer software which allows you to enjoy your outdoor activities more efficiently. Prepare your trips with useful tools, transfer your data to GPS, and once you have finished your activities, extract and analyse the very best of them.
Enjoy the basic functions of Land for free (work with maps, tracks, waypoints, transfer files to TwoNav ...). Try to download the free activation! By doing this you will be able to perform advanced functions for 30 days.

Are updates free of charge?
Most updates are free. There are only two exceptions:
- Maps: Depending on the product (Payable, for example: Vectorial maps, France Topo... / Free, for example: Spain Topo)
- Software versions (for example: from Land 7 to Land 8 / from Land 2 to Land 3).
More frequent updates are free of charge (for example: from Land 7.1 to Land 7.2 / from TwoNav 2.2 to TwoNav 2.3).
How can I obtain maps of my geographic area?
The easiest way to obtain maps is on our website (Menu > Products > Maps). At that section you will be able to find an extensive catalog with all kinds of maps and formats, so you can easily search for any map. You can also get maps from other sources:
- If your device has internet access, you can use remote maps which are included in our software by default (*. cwms). You can also apply for sections of these maps using Land's 'selection' tool, so you will have these maps even offline.
- Land offers many tools to import several types of map formats from any source and convert them in order to perform them in TwoNav.
What kind of maps will you find in our collection?
- Raster: A scanned and calibrated image. Very similar to a paper map.
- Raster mosaic: Made of different raster images which are displayed depending on the availability and zoom level. This kind of maps usually cover the whole country. There's no need to buy the whole territory because it can be purchased in parts (map zones).
- Vectorial: Not based on scanned images, they are made of vectors (+ information database).
- Elevations (CDEM): Digital elevation models are base on a grid of points which contain a certain amount of altitude. By doing this, other elements can be represented according to their height (waypoints, routes...) and display 3D+.
Is urban navigation compatible with TwoNav?
Of course. You just need an V-map, maps specially designed for roads and street navigations (fully compatible with TwoNav). In addition to automatic route calculations and text instructions, you will also receive voice instructions if your device has speaker (Sportiva/Sportiva+ don't have speaker).
What stands for 3D+?
CompeGPS applications have a three-dimensional map visualization that can be used to present maps in perspectives, as well as show elevations of terrain. By doing this, the user will get the most realistic views of his maps.
In order to perform 3D+ function, you must use a map of elevations (CDEM). You will be able to find them at 'Menu > Products > Maps' (totally for free).
Can I use Land if I have a different GPS brand (Garmin, Magellan…)?
Of course you can. Land can send and receive tracks, routes and waypoints from other GPS brands not being TwoNav (for example: Garmin, Magellan...). So you will be able to prepare and analyze your trips with each and every tool that Land brings you. Once you have finished your work, all that reamains is to transfer all the information to your GPS (this transfer is not possible for maps).
